TJ Clarke

Born and raised in central Illinois. Married to Sherrie Lynn (Mooney) in 1959. Obeyed the gospel in Okinawa, Japan in 1961. Three children: B.J., Bryan, and Brooke; seven grandchildren. Graduate of Memphis School of Preaching (1972) and Alabama Christian School of Religion (B. A.). Graduate work at ACSR and Harding Graduate School of Religion. Local work in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, and Arkansas; gospel meetings in fifteen states; speaker and author for various annual lectureships. Written articles for several brotherhood papers. Participated in five debates; two mission trips to Jamaica. From 1991-2004 local preacher at the Third and Bethel church in Mammoth Spring, AR and editor of the Fulton County Gospel News. From 2004-2011 an instructor at the Bible Institute of Missouri (school of preaching in Springfield) and minister of Marshfield, MO church of Christ. Worked with his son B.J. as an associate preacher for the Hwy 77 church of Christ in Marion, AR from July 2011 to January 2014. Presently preaching by appointment.
