Keith A. Mosher, Sr. was born in Waterford, Pennsylvania. An alumnus (1975) of the Memphis School of Preaching, he returned in 1978 to begin part-time, and in 1984 to full-time teaching.
Brother Mosher served in the United States Navy and received his early education at Cleveland State University and the University of Louisville. He was then employed as a metallurgical lab technician in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He and his wife, Dorothy Carol, from Louisville, Kentucky, have been married since 1961, and have three children: Keith Jr. an M.D. in Memphis, Tennessee, and living in Jackson, Tennessee, married to Cindy and having one son–David; a daughter Karen Marie; and Kenyon Mark, who graduated from Memphis School of Preaching in 1988, and preaches in Malvern, Arkansas. Mark has three daughters: Caiti, Cassie, and Callie. Caiti is married to Don Garey, MSOP graduate, and they have two children. Mark has a Masters Degree in family therapy, and is licensed in Arkansas.
The Moshers enrolled in Memphis School of Preaching in 1973 from which he graduated as Outstanding Student in 1975. Since then, brother Mosher has earned the Bachelor of Arts, the Master of Arts, and the Master of Theology degrees from Amridge University. He earned the Doctor of Ministry from Harding Graduate School of Religion in 1990.
Since 1965, brother Mosher has successfully served churches in Columbia, Indiana; Walls, Mississippi; Memphis, Tennessee; and Southaven, Mississippi. He has held gospel meetings in forty states and overseas in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Africa, and Russia. He has appeared on a number of lectureships such as Phillips Street (Dyersburg, Tennessee); Power; Schertz; Lubbock; Spiritual Sword, Memphis School of Preaching; Beeville, Texas; Freed-Hardeman; Pulaski, Tennessee, etc. He participated in the Harding Graduate School Preacher’s Forum (1992) in a discussion with Rubel Shelly concerning grace and law.
Brother Mosher teaches Greek, General Biblical Introduction, Holy Spirit, Bible, Logic, Expository Preaching, Hebrew History, and Parables at Memphis School of Preaching. He is a staff writer for the “Gospel Journal” and has written “Can One Trust His English Bible” (a tract), “Romans: A Study Outline,” and “The Book God Breathed,” a three volume in one tome study of biblical inspiration, canonicity, and how the Bible came to be. The volume on inspiration has also been published in Russia. He is also the author of “The New Heavens and New Earth,” and “Faith Development Tools,” and has numerous articles in periodicals and lectureship books.
Brother Mosher conducts personal work workshops and workshops on humanism, marriage, the book of Daniel, and teachers. He is also an adjunct professor at Amridge University. His most popular seminars are on grief management, which is a week-end seminar held on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
